Queensland Police Legacy provides long-term assistance to the families of serving and retired Queensland Police Officers. We do this by supporting their dependent children and the surviving parent where either parent of that family has passed away or is terminally ill.
Our primary focus has always been on ensuring that the dependent children of those families receive the education their parents intended for them, the education they deserve and that circumstance may have taken from them.
Families remain eligible to receive assistance until all legatee children complete their education, or until the surviving parent remarries or enters into a de-facto relationship of two years or more. Please contact our office for more detailed eligibility information.
