The inaugural 40 for Fortey 40km run was conducted at Katooma Point in Toowoomba on Sunday the 27th of May, 2018. A massive field of over 400 participants registered for the event with many more from the Toowoomba community involved as volunteers to enable it’s smooth ‘running’. A great day was had by all with $12120.00 being raised for Queensland Police Legacy families. A big thank you to the running community, the people of Toowoomba who wholeheartedly supported the day, the Police and Emergency Services Family for their support and involvement and of course the organisers Louise Macdonald, Geordie Horn and Tony Neumann for doing a great job.
